Professional Supervision & Cultural Consultation

Kia ora! I am a Dapaanz Accredited Supervisor, and a Full Member of the New Zealand Association of Counsellors (NZAC), Te Roopu Kaiwhiriwhiri o Aotearoa.

As a supervisor I draw on strength-based, solution-focussed, and developmental approaches to supervision, and am guided by the Reflective Learning Model.

I work in a collaborative way and will create space for you to reflect on your practice. My overall intentions are to facilitate your professional learning and growth, as well as to support the continuation of safe and ethical therapeutic practice.

In counselling I use a range of approaches, including; EFT tapping, multi-systemic family therapy, strengths-based, solutions-focussed, motivational interviewing and te Whare Tapa Whā. I create therapeutic relationships which are supportive, respectful, and embracing of diversity.

I also offer cultural consultation for those who are wanting to focus on their practice with Māori. This is also a part of the Puawānanga Process with NZAC. You can read more about this here.
